Founded in 1960 by Manolo Barcelo’ , COSI-COSI FOOTWEAR S.L. is located in Elche, one of the most important Spanish manufacturing centres Close to Alicante, located at Comunidad Valenciana. The core production, sales, financial departments and administration, together with the product design office and the styling are all based in the company headquarters in Alicante. Marketing and Communication Manager with the press office is located in Milan. The Barcel Familys story began with Manolos creative genius in 1960, a master in handmade rope making and weaving. He obsessively pursued perfection in the production of espadrilles for the most important and fashionable Maisons. That represented the starting point for his son Manuel Barcel Martnez: after lending his creativity to many other designers, in 2002 Manuel decided to set up his own brand, and so he gave birth to Paloma Barcel (name that he will devote to his first-born).
